Ultrasound Imaging Service

For over six decades, physicians have relied on ultrasound imaging as a noninvasive diagnostic tool. This safe, low-risk, and low-cost imaging method gives an inside look at soft tissue and even blood flow within the body.

As medicine and health care continue to progress into a more convenient,
cost-effective system, our professional team at HCS Group focuses on patients and clients to provide the highest quality of imaging services.

Our mobile ultrasound imaging services promote two of our four core values: performance and people. Therefore, we ensure we have well-trained and knowledgeable individuals on our team, from the receptionist to the sonographer to the radiologist who reads the imaging report.

Properly equipped and trained professionals interact with our patients and clients while providing outstanding service using high-performance equipment.

Benefits of Ultrasound Imaging

Sometimes referred to as sonography, ultrasounds use sound waves with high frequencies to produce live or real-time images of body organs, soft tissue, and blood flow. It is often the preferred imaging method because:

  • It is a minimally invasive and typically painless exam.
  • There is no risk of radiation exposure compared to other image testings.
  • It is a portable testing system that involves a probe or transducer.
  • There are lower costs for patients and providers.
  • Overnight stays at a testing facility are not required.
  • There are shorter testing times compared to other imaging methods.
  • You receive results faster than with some other imaging tests.

Patients and clients sometimes have questions. We want to answer those questions. Please see the most frequently asked questions below. If you don't find the question that you have on this list, please don't hesitate to contact us so we can thoroughly answer your question.

  • What can I expect during an ultrasound exam?

Depending on the area in question, a trained professional will place a probe directly on the skin with a thin layer of gel between the skin and the probe. Whether in a facility or a private residence, one of our well-trained sonographers will be sure to explain the process every step of the way.

  • How long is the ultrasound exam?

A general ultrasound takes about 30 to 45 minutes. However, times may vary depending on the area requested for imaging, as some areas might require a more detailed examination. A simple examination may take as little as 15 minutes.

  • When can I expect examination results?

After the sonographer has captured all the images, our team quickly sends all the information to your doctor. The results are typically available within a few hours.

  • Is my information safe and secure?

Yes! HCS Group takes specific measures to ensure that all patient and client information is safe, secure, and confidential. We don't ever want to compromise our patients, clients, providers, or employees.
